Another Boring M?

These last few days have been awesome! We've looked at the definition of a church (since we will be planting churches on the field), and studied from God's Word how churches were started in the book of Acts, what a new church start looks like today, and finding persons of peace in a village or town. We've done an exercise to help us get an idea how that is done. As we've studied these topics I've reflected back on the beginning days of when the Lord led me to start the biker church, Have Bible Will Travel. In those days I did not know anything of how to start a church. But as we've been studying how to start one, I see that I did everything right. That was totally of God! I just did as the Holy Spirit led me in those days. All glory to God!
Tomorrow I will finish up a second day of English as a Second Language (ESL) class. I did part one last Saturday and part two tomorrow. The class will last from 9am to 5pm! Then I will be certified to teach ESL to internationals.
The training here has been incredible. The spiritual warfare workshop was fantastic. Although each day is exhausting it is incredibly rewarding. I just wish that every genuine Believer could go through this training. I remember years ago when usually during the fall that our church would bring an international m. in to talk about their work and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (which supports all 5000 plus workers). I would be totally bored with a capital B! I'd think "When is he or she going to be through talking?!" If I had known then what I know now, I would have said "Tell me more!! What else can I do to help?!" As I was looking around the room today after a break in one of the classes I was in awe. I looked and thought to myself "This is a room with 264 workers, and I am one of them!" I want to encourage you my friends and family that when you hear an international worker speak about his or her opportunities, don't have an indifferent attitude towards them like I did. I hope that by you knowing us and loving us that the next m. that you see and hear that you will not only think of us, but more importantly that you will think of what they do -- what we will be doing -- We will be telling others, who have not had the opportunity of learning, how they can know for sure that they can go to heaven for all eternity! Blessings to you! Randy
